The Tigers Fight Hard at Subiaco - AFL 2006 -

Tigers brave in Defeat against Fremantle, the Tigers were up by a couple of goals 12 minutes into the last quarter before Fremantle turned on the heat and kicked four goals within the last ten minutes to win by eleven points.

The Coach Said :

Richmond coach Terry Wallace ."This lot was up for grabs with five minutes to go, and that was really disappointing," he said."I just thought we certainly had our opportunities … with six-and-a-half minutes to go and you're over two kicks in front, (you would think) you would be able to hang on from there."In the last quarter we had some blokes who couldn't get hold of the footy. I think our kick numbers went down almost half what they (were) in the early half of the game and then just made some poor decisions … some poor choices with the footy."

FREMANTLE: 3.4, 7.6, 10.8, 15.10 (100)
RICHMOND: 2.4, 7.6, 11.11, 13.11 (89)
